This is the completed sculpture The Long Good Bye, a limited edition of just 8, by Steve Gevurtz.
The sculpture is one third life-size: 14 inches high, 12 inches wide, and 10.5 inches deep.
The artist will display the clay model, priced to sell at $5200.00, from which the cast was made as well as
the #2 in the deluxe patina sitting on a bed of Autumn leaves just in time for Stormy Weather Arts Festival.
Steve will be working on a new sculpture throughout the three day event here in the gallery. He is very engaging and enjoys answering questions and explaining the method.

Silk Painting Experience Workshop at Primary Elements Gallery

California Artist Sarah Pierce, will be conducting a one-day Silk Painting
workshop at the Primary Elements Gallery Saturday, June 25, 2011 from
9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, in conjunction with the Plein Air and More event June
24-26.
Sarah is thrilled to be making her first appearance in the area. She has
explored a variety of formats, from watercolor to fused glass, but her
favorite has long been painting on silk, a medium she has richly enjoyed for
over ten years, and which complements her training in surface design.
All levels are welcome in this one-day workshop. Whether you're acquainted
with silk as a medium, or just think you’d like to give it a try, come join in
the experience on Saturday, June 25, 2011.

June is the Plein-Air & More exhibition month and the Cannon Beach Gallery Group invites you to join us Saturday, June 25th for our 3rd annual Plein Air and More Event. Seventeen artists will paint, sculpt and photograph Cannon Beach, showing us the town and coastline through their eyes.
Artists will be at work throughout the town from 11am-4pm on Saturday.
Sunday their previous day's work will be for sale in the Gallery representing them
along with more of their work.
Pelican Pub & Brewery of Pacific City, Oregon is partnering with Primary Elmenents Gallery for this weekend's Plein Air & More Festival!
The Nine Gallery artists will be wearing Pelican hats & Pelican t-shirts and the gallery will serve Pelican Surfers & Pelican Kiwanda beer, brewed in Pacific City by Pelican Pub and Brewery on Saturday, June 25th!
Taken during the Cannon Beach Stormy Weather Arts Festivial in 2010, this year, but Steve Gevurtz will also demonstrate for Spring Unveilng, from April 29 thorugh May 1, 2011.
David Densmore reads for gallery events and will again take part in the annual Fisher Poets Gathering event in Astoria.
