Love Letter

When a woman is loved it shows. This sculpture is about the joyous natural response she has to the love of her man. When her love and companionship are consistently nourished and cherished above all earthly things she has little difficulty loving him in return. God wired her that way. He is commanded to love her but she is not commanded to love him. When I take the initiative to act sacrificially to meet my wife's deepest needs, acrimony and self centeredness have no place to dwell. "...you husbands must love your wives with the same love Christ showed the church. He gave up his life for her."
