Terry M. Rishel - Photography

Rishel began his photography career in 1980; interested in black and white film he began shooting abstracts in nature. With the onset of digital photography he began an interest in High Dynamic Range (HDR) using this Digital program to enhance abstract images such as topics like Florals, Art , City of Tacoma, Architecture, nature, etc. Using medium and large scale Museum quality art prints (up to 4'x6') Terry also offers many photographic services that have taken years to learn. High Dynamic Range Photography (HDR) is a method to provide higher dynamic range of the image process through the use of various special software. When you photograph a normal image you take one exposure that limits your contrast range. With HDR you wold normally take three images of a single subject (-2 stops, normal exposure, +2 stops) then all three images are combined through the software to make one image. This extends the contrast range of a single image. With this tool you would open up a whole new world that could look just a little different or to an extreme abstract in tonal as well as color range.
