Michael Hopko - Glass Art

Soul Glass is a family owned and operated business located in the Trinity Alps of Northern California. Artist Michael Hopko has created a collection of hand-blown sculptures combining art and craftsmanship. The beauty and motion of nature are captured through glass in stunning detail.

Michael Hopko began his journey as a glass artist in 1990 as an art student at Shasta College. After college, he worked as an apprentice glass blower with several different artists in California.

An avid outdoorsman, Michael’s interest in nature is manifested in his inspired glass works. His sculptures include a variety of Octopi, Trout, Bass, and Salmon as well as colorful Mahi-Mahi, Yellow Fin Tuna, and many others to suit your style.

Since founding Soul Glass in 1996, Michael has ensured that each piece of art that leaves his studio is uniquely crafted within comparable quality. Continually honing his craft, his future goals include creating even more elaborate pieces such as the Goldfish or Rooster Fish, appealing to both the trained glass collector and the individual looking for beautiful display art.
