Alison Brown - Sculpture

Alison Brown grew up in rural Oregon riding horses and spending time exploring the outdoors. When she was very young, she was educated at a Montessori school that fostered her creative side. Her parents encouraged her to be true to herself. She found support nurturing her artistic creative spirit as she experimented with different mediums of art, learning at a young age to follow her passion.

After earning her degree at the University of Oregon and serving as a sculpting assistant for prominent northwest sculptor Rip Caswell, she built her company, Campus Sculptures, on December of 2010.

She has since poured her passion into a variety of unique artworks cast in bronze, which she casts in small, limited editions using the ancient lost wax process. Galleries from Cannon Beach, Oregon to Jackson Hole, Wyoming have begun representing and selling her work, in the US and abroad.

In addition to her gallery presence, she has also decided to focus much of her work on creating bronze art for universities. She creates bronze mascot awards, graduation gifts, and trophies and offers custom artwork for sororities, fraternities and alumni.

Alison has now returned to her alma mater after receiving a license from Disney to recreate the University of Oregon's Donald Duck mascot. These are scheduled to be released very soon in the University's bookstore, The Duckstore.
